Day by Day Program

Day 1

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After clearing customs and Immigration formalities, met and transferred to your Lodge for leisure and overnight. 

Nestled within the captivating landscapes of Tanzania, Lake Duluti emerges as a serene gem that encapsulates the natural beauty of the region. With its tranquil waters and lush surroundings, the lake offers a haven of tranquillity and a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Lake Duluti’s allure lies in its scenic vistas and serene ambience. The calm waters mirror the surrounding greenery, creating a picturesque scene that evokes a sense of serenity. The lake’s location at the foot of Mount Meru adds an extra layer of enchantment, as the towering peak provides a majestic backdrop to the tranquil waters.

The lodge is made up of 19 spacious contemporary African styled suites ideally positioned for maximum privacy and view. These romantic chalets are located inside thirty acres working coffee farm in a safe and exclusive area in the outskirts of Arusha.

The lodge has been designed in a way that you will feel like you are staying at home rather than top end hotel, and because of this design the lodge services are reserved for its resident guests.The lodge prides itself on its exquisite cuisine, its first class exclusivity, exceptional personalized service, top class amenities and the eco-friendly architecture and design.

Award winning architect and lodge designer Nick Plewman (Nicholas Plewman Architects) came up with the ‘Modern African Farm House’ design as the theme of the lodge and together with the interior design and decoration by Megan Fasanelli (Meg Vaun Interiors), whose exquisite furnishings complements the build by JCP Engineering, creates the perfect blend.

Day 2

Pick up from the base hotel in Arusha, transfer to Marangu gate about 1 hour minutes,Upon registering with park authorities, our climb will officially commence with a four-hour walk to the Mandara encampment. We will pass through a thick rainforest zone, where there is a high chance of rain in the afternoon.

In the middle way we stop and enjoy picnic lunch, proceed to Mandara hut, (2,750m). Walk around and short rest before start descending to the Marangu gate where you meet your car and drive down to your base Hotel.

Day 3

Honeyguide Tarangire Camp, Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, lunch at the Camp, Enjoy an afternoon game drive Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is an awe-inspiring national park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetative landscapes, and free-roaming wildlife.

During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty wildlife. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather and not surprisingly the predators follow. With lion being among the most commonly spotted animal, it is a rare day that a visitor does not spot this majestic animal prowling or grazing.

Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. This expansive area is also known for its spectacular baobab trees, its breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the wondrous mountains to the south.

Honeyguide Tarangire Camp is set in the breathtaking wilderness of Tarangire National Park. The campsite features 10 well-spaced tents with private decks, en-suite bathrooms, safes, king-sized beds, and complimentary water bottles.

Facilities and services include 24-hour solar power, dining facilities, a bar and lounge area, and a fire pit. Area activities include game drives and bush walks.

Day 4

Day 5

Following breakfast, with a picnic lunch drive to Lake Manyara National Park, game drive in the Park, later drive to Karatu for freshening up, leisure as dinner is cooking away. Meals and overnight at the Lodge.Travellers heading for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will pass through the town of Karatu in the green hills of Tanzania’s northern highlands.

Presided over by the towering Ol Deani Volcano, this small, colourful town serves as a popular overnight stop for visitors exploring the area’s many game parks. The town offers a variety of activities including browsing the bustling marketplace, sampling beer at a local brewery, visiting a traditional homestead, or taking a guided walk through the Ngorongoro Forest in search of waterfalls and caves.

Whether you are looking for cultural tours, hiking and biking opportunities, a chance to enjoy an authentic rural Tanzania experience, or simply a break between safari game drives, this underrated town has plenty to offer.

Acacia Farm Lodge is a romantic Country Lodge nestled in an active mixed farm located high on the spectacular Great Rift’s escarpment area with commanding panoramic views of the amazing Karatu farmlands and the nearby Ngorongoro forest area. Acacia Farm Lodge, Karatu

Day 6

Today you will be taken on a crater tour with a picnic lunch. The crater is famous for its concentration of animals and one of the best places in Tanzania to see the rhino.

Drive back to Acacia Farm Lodge,  dinner will be cooking away and after a much deserved hot shower, sit down for a meal in the beautiful dining area.

Day 7

Following breakfast, transferred to the Airstrip for a schedule flight to Kogatende departing at 11:10 and arrive at 12:35, met by the camp vehicle and driver, proceed to the camp for lunch, later enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Park. 

Located between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is a remote African wildlife wonderland. The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti, is known as the hub of the great migration. The landscape is characterised by vast stretches of savannah interspersed with acacia trees and riverine woodlands.

Wildlife can be seen along the banks of the Mara River and visitors can view the annual spectacle of the half a million migrating wildebeest. Commonly spotted wildlife include: a multitude of plains game such as buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe as well as lion and leopard. Visitors can look forward to bird watching, hot air ballooning, game safaris and guided bush walks.

Migration Camp moves seasonally between Ndutu and Northern Serengeti, following the herds of wildebeest as they travel from Ndutu, Southern part of Serengeti to the Northern part where they cross into the Masai Mara. Nyikani Migration Camp is semi-permanent, offering an authentic and intimate bush experience in the middle of the Serengeti wilderness.

Nyikani Migration Camp operates off the grid and relies on a custom-built a solar system for its power. Room fabrics are handwoven African designs and the camps furniture was commissioned and crafted by artisans in Arusha, Tanzania.

Day 8

Enjoy a full day, with morning and evening games drives in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy quiet evenings by the camp fire and the exclusivity of absolute comfort combined with the authenticity of a night spent in the African bush, an extraordinary experience for all nature lovers.

Day 9

This morning wake to the sounds of the African bush, and head out on an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active. On return to your camp, enjoy a typical safari breakfast surrounded by local wildlife.

Later, on your afternoon game drive, the chances to spot Africa’s famous Big Five abound, thanks to the park’s density of both predators and prey. Or enjoy a full day game drive as per camps schedules

Day 10

Following breakfast, transferred to the nearest Airstrip for a schedule flight to Zanzibar departing at 11:00 and arrive at 14:25, upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel in the beach, for a deserved relaxation. Meals, drinks and overnight at the hotel.  

Located only an hour’s drive from Stone Town, near the village of Paje on the beautiful eastern coast of Zanzibar, the seaside resort town of Dongwe features endless white-sand beaches meeting crystal- clear azure waters. Travellers from around the globe flock to this little corner of paradise for the quintessential beach-island getaway. Dongwe is encircled by lush tropical vegetation with an offshore coral reef teeming with colourful tropical fish and an array of other marine life.

It boasts a wide selection of wonderful fully-equipped beachside resorts. Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities including: swimming with wild dolphins, enjoying fascinating forest excursions, and sampling delicious local cuisine, which known for its variety of aromatic spices.

The Palms is an Adults-Only boutique property ideally situated on the powdery white-sand Bwejuu Beach that is located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania.
This all-inclusive and award-winning hotel features seven well-appointed villas with private plunge pools.
